Olympe de Gouges: She was born on May 7, 1748 in Montauban and died on November 3, 1793 in Paris. She was a French woman of letters, and became a politician. She is the author of the Declaration of the Rights of Women and Citizens. She also left many writings in favor of the civil and political rights of women and the abolition of black slavery.
Rosa Parks: She was born on February 4, 1913 and died on October 24, 2005. She was an African-American woman who became an iconic figure in the fight against racial segregation in the United States. She also fought against racial segregation with Martin Luther King.
Simone Veil: She was born on July 13, 1927 in Nice and died on June 30, 2017 in Paris. She was a French stateswoman. But during the war, being born to a Jewish family, she was deported to Auschwitz at the age of 16, where she lost her parents and brother. In 1974, she was appointed Minister of Health by President Valéry Giscard d'Estaing, who entrusted her with the adoption of the law decriminalizing the recourse by a woman to the voluntary interruption of pregnancy. In 2008 she was elected to the French Academy.

Gisèle Halimi: Born on July 27, 1927 in La Goulette, Tunisia and died on July 28, 2020 in Paris. She was a lawyer, feminist activist and Franco-Tunisian politician. She is the only lawyer signatory of the manifesto of the 343 of 1971.
Greta Thunberg: She was born on January 3, 2003 in Stockholm, Sweden. She is a Swedish environmental activist committed to the fight against global warming. She made a speech at the United Nations headquarters, confronting them with the existential crisis of climate change. In 2018, she protested in front of the Swedish Parliament against inaction on climate change, and she is launching the school climate strike.
